Quadcopters will be used to keep humanitarian corridors working to evacuate civilians. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Today, May 18, the SES 85 drone received the DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo.

First of all, they will be involved in ensuring the reliable and safe functioning of humanitarian corridors, in order to evacuate the civilian population of Ukraine from hostilities. Drones will also be used to inspect emergency areas and carry out other activities in the field of the Ukrainian Rescue Service.

It was possible to acquire quadcopters thanks to the initiative of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, which appealed to donors – international organizations to help SES. Drones can be used to escort humanitarian corridors, survey and detect mined areas without physically involving units, and monitor fires in ecosystems.

Today, Ukrainian rescuers work with less risk than the army of the Defense Forces.

We remind you that last week the Italian Fire Service delivered more than 45 units of special equipment to the Ukrainian rescuers. The cars have already arrived in Ukraine and will be sent to different parts of the country. The fire trucks will help to replace the equipment of the Ukrainian rescuers, who left as a result of the actions of the Russian occupiers, as soon as possible. The delivery of special equipment was coordinated through the Civil Protection Mechanism of the European Union. Source
