Acer is currently hosting the Next @ Acer 2022 Worldwide Press Conference, a major event that is expected to bring a major product renewal to much of its PC, consumer Swift, Spin or Helios catalog, as well as professional equipment. from the TravelMate and ConcepID series.

Acer Swift 3 OLED

It has an aluminum chassis with a thickness of 17.9 mm, which leaves its weight inside only 1.4 kg and features eco-friendly features such as the OceanGlass touchpad made from ocean-based plastic waste.

Its screen is undoubtedly an excellent component with 14-inch OLED panel diagonal and WQXGA + resolution (2.8k). Its aspect ratio is 16:10 and the screen to body ratio has risen to an impressive 92%. It is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The processors stand out inside Intel Core H-series 12th generation Alder Lake with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, complete with PCIe Gen 4 SSDs and up to 16 GB LPDDR5 memory. It is certified for the Intel Evo thanks to features such as an immediate start after sleep mode or 10 real hours of autonomy with fast charging, which offers 4 hours of battery life in just 30 minutes.

In addition to the Thunderbolt ports, the latest version of the wireless standard stands out in the connectivity section WiFi 6E. His FHD MIPI webcam takes advantage of the technology Temporary noise reduction (TNR) from Acer to provide high quality video even in low light conditions, while Acer PurifiedVoice with AI noise reduction ensures that the user’s voice is heard loud and clear. Its backlit keyboard has a new airflow design that dissipates 10% more heat than a standard keyboard.
Acer Spin 5
The Taiwanese manufacturer has also refreshed a number of convertibles that we like. It is based on a 14-inch touch screen with WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels), 16:10 aspect ratio, 88% screen to body ratio and TÜV certification against annoying blue light.

To take advantage of the touch screen, Acer offers a high-quality stylus with Wacom AES 2.0 technology and 4,096 pressure levels for greater accuracy and control. Lightweight (1.3 kg) and ultra-thin (16.9 mm), like all these convertible lines, it has a 360-degree hinge system that allows easy transitions between different modes of uselaptop, screen, tent or tablet, so it is suitable for any task.
Spin 5 is another Intel EVO certified with internal hardware that relies on the 12th generation Intel Core i7 processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics card. It contains up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage capacity.

It includes a Killer network module to support Wi-Fi 6E and two ports USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4 support which guarantee the speed of data transmission and energy supply. Spin 5’s Twin Air cooling system is designed with Acer’s Vortex Flow architecture, which, according to the manufacturer, increases its performance by up to 75% and keeps temperatures at bay.
Acer Spin 3
The previous variant was slightly reduced by the benefits, but also by the price. Install the screen 14 inches with FHD resolution and includes an interesting Acer Active Stylus for drawing and taking notes on the multi-touch panel.

It runs on 12th generation Intel Core processors, with Intel Iris Xe graphics cards and a high-capacity storage SSD. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and has two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4. It includes an HD camera with Acer TNR technology as well as Acer PurifiedVoice with AI noise reduction.
Spin 3 narrow frames allow an 86% screen-to-body ratio and, like any convertible device, its strength is absolute versatility usage modes that allow its hinge systems to conveniently switch between reading, annotating, and sharing work in laptop, presentation, or tablet mode.

Price and availability of the new Acer
All new equipment from the Taiwanese brand will be available this summer on the Acer web portal and in the retail channel at the following prices:
- Swift 3 OLED (SF314-71) will be available in Spain from July 2022 from 999 euros.
- Spin 5 (SP514-51N) will be available in Spain from July 2022 from € 1,399.
- Spin 3 (SP312-55 / N) will be available in Spain without a defined date from 999 euros in the basic set.
