The web version of Adobe Photoshop is now generally available on all paid plans. Users receive all the important AI tools that Adobe also provides with the desktop app of its popular editing program.

Photoshop on the Internet, the web version of the popular program, is now generally available for all paid formulas. You will find the full range of AI tools that Adobe has also integrated into the desktop app.

Including almost everything

After a two-year beta run, the web version of Photoshop is generally available to paying subscribers. This incarnation of the editing program has a slightly different layout, but includes the latest tools also available for the desktop app.

Users of this version can easily work with Generative Expand (to literally expand images) or the Generative Fill image generator. Both features work with Adobe’s increasingly ubiquitous Firefly AI.

The classic tools and functions have not been forgotten either. Photoshop on the Internet for example also uses the Contextual taskbar which you can find in the desktop app. According to Adobe, other features such as the patch tool or the polygonal lasso will soon be included in this version.

To simplify the online editing process, Adobe groups similar tools into groups. You can find this in the taskbar. If you prefer the layout of the desktop version, you can activate it at any time. It is also possible to invite others to work together on a project. Even without an active Photoshop subscription, users can view and provide feedback on files.

Practical

Switching from the web version to the desktop app should be easy using the button Split. Cloud documents are saved automatically, but you can also do this manually from the menu.

The keyboard shortcut CMD/CTRL+T for Free transformation does not work in this web version. Under the section Help you will find the necessary information about which key combinations are relevant.

At the moment it works Photoshop on the Internet not on mobile browsers (outside of displaying and providing feedback). The desktop browsers you can use are:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge version 102 and later (64-bit)
  • Firefox version 111

Do you have anymore questions? No problem, Adobe has provided an FAQ page.
