He Supreme Electoral Court of Guatemala reported this Saturday that Community Service (The prosecutor’s office) is adding 20 hours of raids at its headquarters after its premises were searched for a fourth time on Friday over election-related complaints.

The court detailed through its official communication channels that prosecutors from the prosecutor’s office “stole” the election protocols of votes from June 25 and August 20, won by the candidate Bernardo Arevalo de Leon parties Movement Seed.

According to the same source, prosecutors and security officials took notes during moments of tension in the courthouse.

In this regard, several judges of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal tried to block the departure of prosecutors, arguing that democracy is being violatedas confirmed EFE.

Kurruchish and the leadership of the Ministry of State were authorized by the United States over the past two years on charges of “undermine” justice in Guatemala.

The prosecutor accused the Organization of American States (OAS) of “tarnishing” democracy in the Central American country.

“This operation is part of a confidential investigation, the purpose of which is to save the democracy of a country damaged by the OAS,” Kurruchis assured journalists during the operation.

This fourth raid that the ministry has conducted at the headquarters of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal over the past two months regarding alleged anomalies in the electoral process.

On September 1, Arevalo de Leon said that the prosecutor’s office was conducting ‘coup’ against him to prevent his inauguration on January 14.
