iCloud.com has received a new update with even more features.
After the recent major updates iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 as well as macOS 14 Sonoma, Apple is now also releasing new upgrades for iCloud.com.
First of all, there are additional functions for email. For example, you can now receive browser notifications for email and calendar on a PC. The system also supports PC notifications for event invitations or emails. You can now also create a new email address directly from the web, just like undoing an email. Users can also add files and photos from iCloud Drive or Photos to an email directly from the web interface.
There’s a new home screen that allows you to perform actions more quickly. This also includes a slideshow view for photos. You can now download a file directly from your home screen, delete or set an email to unread, and check off tasks in Reminders.
Additionally, just like iOS 17, you can add a link for a note to another note. There is also a new way to view files as a list. To preview a file before downloading, you can now select it and simply press the spacebar.
A few weeks ago, Apple launched two new formulas for iCloud. With more memory, but of course also a more expensive price.
