Do you switch off completely after work or can’t resist checking Teams, Slack or your inbox again for new messages?

Since April 1, 2023, the “right to be unavailable” applies to companies with more than twenty employees in Belgium. This means that the employer cannot require employees to respond to telephone calls, emails and chat messages outside of working hours. It is up to employers and employees to make clear agreements on this, but above all it is up to everyone to find a good balance for themselves.
