Orange Belgium will enable cybersecurity on the back of its systems and endpoint security in early 2024 in collaboration with Cyan AG.

Orange Belgium is joining forces with IT security company Cyan AG to launch a network-based cybersecurity solution for mobile and endpoint security. Together with the security and information provider SAM Seamless Network, the security for fixed networks is supplemented for private and small business customers.

Together with Cyan AG, the company that has been Orange’s partner for cybersecurity solutions in 28 countries since 2018, Orange Belgium plans to launch network-based mobile security with cyber protection and content filtering in early 2024.

The telco will also add endpoint security: The security package will also protect customers from cyber threats when they connect one of their mobile devices to public Wi-Fi, use another network with data roaming, and in other situations.

In the second half of 2024, in collaboration with SAM, a software option via a fixed modem will be added so that private and business customers can count on security at home. Further information on this will be announced next year.
