Atex Co., headquartered in Osaka, Japan, introduced Gogo no Makura, meaning “afternoon pillow.”
Gizmochina reported this, as reported by Ukrinform.
Gogo no Makura is a headrest with a breathing hole in the middle. The pillow is attached to the edge of the table. This is one of the easiest ways to relax.
The pillow supports both the user’s head and ribcage when leaning forward. The innovation offers three different angles of tilt adjustment.
Additionally, the “afternoon pillow” has a built-in vibration signal that can be set to wake the user up.
It was noted that the pillow is currently sold in Japan and is expected to be sold in other countries soon.
Some people worry that this “afternoon pillow” might encourage excessive napping while at work. But developer Atex Co claims the new product is designed to help people take short naps to boost energy and productivity.
Currently, Gogo no Makura only comes in gray and costs ¥8,800 (about $58).
As reported by Ukrinform, a group of Japanese researchers have created a robot-artist with artificial intelligence that can draw pictures.
