More than a hundred students were hospitalized this Wednesday after eating spoiled food in high school in the state of Madhya Pradesh, central India.

“There are about 100 students in total,” ranging in age from 18 to 25. due to food poisoning, Amit Yadav, secretary of the Laxmibai National Institute, located in the city of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, where the event took place, told the press.

The secretary stated that about 70 people were prescribed medications to relieve pain while 25 or 30 students are receiving drip medications and “one or two are complaining of tremors.”

“None of them are serious” Yadav said.

This incident occurred just a month after another hundred high school students also had to be hospitalized for suspected food poisoning in the southern state of Telangana.
