As reported by Ukrinform, Engadget reported this.
“The tech giant has launched emoji reactions for Gmail – and yes, that means you can react to emails just like instant messages,” the article says.
The company started to introduce a new feature on devices with Android operating system; users should see an emoji icon at the end of an email in Gmail.
To use an emoji, you need to tap the icon and then choose the emotion you want from the menu. The reaction for each will be displayed next to the icon, while some will have their own short animations.
It is stated that emoji reactions will be available to all users over the internet, as well as iOS smartphone owners, in the next few months.
As Ukrinform reported, Google added the Emoji Kitchen service to its search engine on September 14, which gives users the opportunity to create emoji combinations.
