On the same day, September 28, when the news of the attack on the airports became known, the official Telegram channel of the IT Army published a post briefly explaining that two companies were affected by the incident: “Pobyeda” and “Aeroflot”. Their customers could neither book tickets nor register for flights. Later, news came that Ural Airlines flights were suspended.

The very next day, Ukrainian hackers published another statement in which they directly stated their participation in these attacks:

Take a look at the results of our operation yesterday and the impact on the air traffic of the aggressor country. Here is the recognition of the quality of training at airports and the fatigue of passengers,
– activists wrote, referring to the broadcasts of Russian propagandists on Ren-TV.

As you know, DDoS attacks affected Moscow airports such as Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo.

Now the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov wrote about this stage of the Ukrainian cyberattack. He noted that the IT army disables Russian websites almost every day, causing data leaks and stopping the work of terrorist state institutions.
