With the Envy Move, HP has created a portable all-in-one PC with a battery and a compartment for your keyboard.
An AIO PC that you can take anywhere in the house and doesn’t always require a power outlet. According to HP, this is a logical evolution of hybrid working in combination with homes that do not always have a separate work area. In some cases, a laptop screen is too small, so a portable AIO with a large touchscreen.
Thanks to the handle and rotating feet on the bottom, you can easily take the HP Envy Move around the house. For ambitious people, outdoor use is also an option with an optional cover, which primarily protects the fragile, large screen on the front.
There is a small “net” on the back where you can accommodate the keyboard with an integrated touchpad. If you’re not a fan of a touchpad, you can also add a compact mouse.
The 23.8-inch touchscreen has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with a maximum brightness of 300 nits. That’s pretty tight when you’re dealing with sunlight. On the other hand, the mobile design makes it easy to move the PC.
Other machine specifications:
CPU | Up to an Intel Core i5-1355U |
GPU | Intel Iris Xe (integrated) |
R.A.M. | Up to 16GB LPDDR5-4800 RAM |
storage | Up to 1TB |
Screen | 23.8 inches, touch, 2,560 x 1,440 pixels |
Dimensions | 55.22 x 36.65 x 14.46 cm |
Weight | 4.1kg |
battery | 6 cells, 83 Wh, up to 4 hours of battery life |
There is space at the top of the screen for a high-quality 5 MP webcam with an integrated privacy cover. The rear ports include USB-A, USB-C and an HDMI input to use the AIO as a monitor.
According to the manufacturer, the 83 Wh battery on board the HP Envy Move can last up to four hours. A 90-watt charger is included in the delivery so that you can charge the AIO occasionally or install it as a conventional fixed PC.
HP has done everything it can to keep the weight down. The AIO weighs 4.1 kg, which we find suitable for comfortable movement around the house thanks to the handle.
The HP Envy Move is available now and costs from 1,299 euros including VAT.
