Intel is once again pointing out that a new version of Windows will be released next year. Intel CFO David Zinsner announced the update at the Citi conference and stated that the company expects revenue growth within this framework.
In this case, everything is simple: with the release of a new version of Windows, many users decide to update their computers, and for Intel this means sales of additional processors (and not only).
Let’s remember, Intel previously announced that it would launch Meteor Lake mobile CPUs, especially for the new generation Windows. Judging by current leaks, the system will be called Windows 12.
As a reminder, Meteor Lake will be introduced in December, and the first laptops based on them will likely appear in early 2024. These processors will also have a hardware unit for working with artificial intelligence for the first time for Intel, and a great emphasis on artificial intelligence is expected in Windows 12.
