He passed just three days after the launch of Assassin’s Creed Miragethe new and highly anticipated installment of the classic saga, which debuted with the first title back in 2007. Since then, between the main titles and spin-off, we’ve seen the arrival of more than 20 titles, some of which have been huge hits, others… well, let’s just say the best we can say about them is that they’ve fallen into obscurity. Something to do, on the other hand, with that speed of production to make the franchise as profitable as possible.

Something that has been criticized in recent installments is that they have left the classic setting of the saga to address other contexts such as the Viking world in Valhalla, Egypt in Origins and Greece in Odyssey, a “world tour”. ” that while it served to freshen up the series a bit, it didn’t quite sit well with a section of the series’ followers who naturally celebrated that Ubisoft announced last September, that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will return to the roots of the seriesplacing its origin in Baghdad in the 9th century, the moment of maximum brilliance of the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate, which was recognized as one of the main centers of knowledge and culture.

A few weeks ago, just before the launch, we informed you about its technical requirements, provided it has XeSS support, Intel’s intelligent scaling technology. This was predictable as Intel was Ubisoft’s technology partner for the launch of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. At the time, we didn’t know if AMD and NVIDIA technologies would also find support, but finally Ubisoft confirmed that yes, the title had support for both DLSS 2 and FSR 2. 10, in my opinion, for Ubisoft.

The game support for DLSS 2, FSR 2 and XeSS guarantees that users will be able to enjoy it with a larger frame rate than they would have obtained without such technologies. However, other more advanced solutions such as DLSS 3 and FSR 3 image generation remain outside the official scope of the game, at least for now. And there, as is becoming more common, come modders who are able to expand the original versions with new features, improvements, additional content, etc.

One of those creators, a particularly prolific one, is PureDark, who we’ve talked about recently for mods to bring DLSS 2 and 3 to Starfield, and who has also published mods in the past that implement AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA technologies in other titles. such as Baldur’s Gate, The Last of Us Part I, Elden Ring, Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption 2, among others. Now is his latest publication mod that adds DLSS 3 to Assassin’s Creed Miragethereby allowing GeForce RTX 40 graphics card users to take advantage of the image generation technology we’ve already told you about on other occasions.

However, it just so happens that like some of their previous mods, PureDark is not offering this Assassin’s Creed Mirage mod for free. To get it, you have to subscribe to his Patreon, which has a monthly fee of five euros (plus VAT) and which uses a DRM solution to combat piracy. However, as he has already specified several times, There is no need to maintain a subscription to continue using your mods nor to access their updates.
