PaaS provider Docker Inc. unveiled two new AI products at its own DockerCon in Los Angeles.

The American Docker (supported by Qnap, among others) presented two new AI products at its own DockerCon. It is a virtual assistant and developer platform.

For the new platform GenAI Stack joins forces with Docker with three partners:

• Neo4j as a standard database and for knowledge graphs
• Long chain for communication between different systems
• Ollama for managing the models

Users have pre-configured LLMs. There are also various tools, code templates and help guides. With this platform, Docker wants to integrate AI and… machine learning Simplify technologies and make them more accessible to developers.

Currently, GenAI Stack is available in Early Access and can be found via the Docker Desktop Learning Center or via GitHub.

These specific Docker partners are of course not exclusive. Google is expanding BigQuery through a partnership with Neo4j, among other things.

The AI ​​power of a community

With Docker AI, the company is introducing its first-ever AI-powered product. It is actually a code generator designed to make things easier for developers. According to Scott Johnston, CEO of Docker, this system is intended to help with all aspects of application development.

Docker AI automatically helps developers edit, debug, or test a Docker or Docker Compose file. The AI ​​works with the collective knowledge of millions of Dockers users, which the company has collected through its community over the past few years.

Docker AI is currently available in Early Access.
