The Sophos AP6 series supports the transition to hybrid environments with a new generation of cloud-managed WiFi 6/6E access points.
The new Sophos AP6 models, including the 420E, AP6 840, AP6 840E and the outdoor AP6 420X, are equipped with at least one integrated 2.5 GBE interface for faster LAN connectivity. Combined with Sophos Multi-Gigabit switches, which also support 2.5 GBE, businesses can achieve faster speeds across their network.
For additional performance, the AP6 420E and 840E devices that support Wi-Fi 6E provide access to the 6 GHz band. This is a newer, less congested frequency band that offers optimal performance for the latest devices.
This new offering complements Sophos’ secure access portfolio, which also includes Sophos Firewall and Sophos Switch.
Sophos access points can be managed remotely using the cloud-based Sophos Central platform. Additionally, an on-premise interface is also available for administrators who want to manage local settings.

The Sophos AP6 series is available now through the Sophos partner network and managed service providers (MSPs).
