The new FortiSwitch 600 and 2000 complement Fortinet’s portfolio of secure, easy-to-use and scalable switches. They provide the performance and port density required to meet the needs of modern campus environments. Companies can scale their capacity as connectivity needs grow.

The FortiSwitch 600 is a multi-gigabit access switch for campus networks with port speeds of up to 5GE for access connections and up to 25GE for uplink connections. The switch ensures solid network performance with intelligent traffic control from advanced access points to mission-critical destinations.

The FortiSwitch 2000 is a core switch designed for larger and more complex campus environments. To this end, the device bundles access switches such as the FortiSwitch 600. Both switches are equipped with dual power supplies to provide the redundant power that modern campus networks require.

Both switches can use FortiGuard. which offers, among other things, advanced protection against malware, sandboxing and an internet filter. All FortiSwitch models also offer integration with FortiAIOps. This AI tool provides IT administrators with real-time insights into potential network issues and automates manual tasks.

Both the FortiSwitch 600 and FortiSwitch 2000 are now available.
