At its own online event Max 2023, Adobe introduced the Firefly Image 2 model. This new generation received a number of upgrades and was able to produce more realistic images.

Firefly’s generative AI was introduced in March and will receive a successor with upgrades after just six months. Adobe introduced the Firefly Image 2 model at Max 2023, the online event currently underway. The second generation of the collection of creative AI models is intended to provide more realistic images.

Text even more beautiful

The Firefly Image 2 model is said to be faster and have more features. Adobe says you can easily switch between the two generations so you can see the difference for yourself.

The upgrades include new text-to-image features:

• Generative Match – allows you to add an image as a reference to your text prompt to better describe the style you want for your image

• Photo Settings – You can adjust the settings of an image like a camera to get more realistic images
• Prompt suggestions – to make your prompts more precise and suggest alternative wording

You can share links to images and prompts directly from Firefly, so you can showcase your work or collaborate on it with others. You can instantly save and access images through Creative Cloud Libraries.
