Although he does not usually do this, it is quite remarkable that the new feature was announced by Mark Zuckerberg himself. Users have been asking for the ability to edit since the early days of Threads, and Social Network X offers this feature for a fee. Considering Musk’s long-running war of words with Meta’s president, this could clearly be perceived as some sort of personal message to Elon.
This is what the icon that informs that posts in Topics / Photo Meta have been edited looks like

A new type of publication is audio recordings. Twitter also has these features and they appeared quite a long time ago, but they were only released for some iPhone owners. It’s unclear whether the developers intend to expand these to Android. Even so, Elon Musk’s appearance at the company canceled these plans. No one is currently using this functionality.
This is similar to a voicemail in Messenger:

Unfortunately, Threads has never been popular among Ukrainians. You can find a lot of Ukrainian users there, but most of them do not show any significant activity.
Instead, American audiences are increasingly joining the new social network. Last week, after another Ilonomask innovation, there was a flurry of posts under the #DeadTwitter hashtag, where English-speaking viewers shared their thoughts on the breakdown of X and their transition to the new service. Among the authors of such publications there are many users with tens, hundreds of thousands of followers and even verification ticks on Instagram.
So Threads might be a good place to follow English-language sources and users (like tech and science media, as well as journalists who write about these topics), but it’s largely ignored by Ukrainian audiences.
