Leaked renders and video of Xiaomi 14 Pro

91mobiles media leaked some renders and video from Xiaomi 14 Pro, the future top model of the Chinese brand. We remember that these images are generally reconstructions of photographs that are created in this way in order not to leave the slightest trace that could reveal leaks, and companies have become experts in tracking down to the smallest detail.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro would be an intermediate model in the Xiaomi 14 range of smartphones, with the standard below and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra above. It should measure 161.6 x 75.3 x 8.7 millimeters, with a 13.1 mm high camera module.

The screen will be 2.5D, 6.6 inches, AMOLED type, with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and with a perforation in the upper middle part where the front camera would be located. There would be room for four cameras on the back, but it remains to be seen if it will eventually implement four or three, with a resolution for the main one ranging between 50 and 64 megapixels.

At the function level The Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoCwhich makes sense if we consider that some models of the Xiaomi 13 series implemented the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Since we are dealing with a high-end device, it may not correspond to the typical good quality-price ratio that characterized the brand of Chinese origin, but this series it is mainly focused on the competition of top models from Samsung and OnePlus.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro battery is said to have a capacity of 4,860 mAh and will support fast wired charging up to 120 watts and wireless charging up to 50 watts. At the level of characteristics expected of him, 12 GB of RAMfingerprint sensor, high definition sound, Dolby Atmos and a previously unknown certification for resistance to water and dust.

Since we’re talking about leaks, it would be wise to take the information with a grain of salt. However, in the images you can see details that remind you of the Xiaomi 13 series, which was presented last February at MWC 2023 and implemented the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the standard and Pro models, while the Lite uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

Changing the subject, high-end smartphones do not make much sense to most, but we are talking about a sector that offers little support in terms of updates and wastes resources implemented in devices with excessive joy, especially in the middle and low ranges.
