The US Embassy in Israel has urged American citizens living in that country who wish to leave due to the current crisis in the Gaza Strip to rush to catch a flight “while they are available.”

The embassy statement also states that Israelis wishing to leave must go to Ben Gurion Airport (near Tel Aviv) tomorrow, Sunday, and “find a table with an American flag,” while clarifying that flights would not fly to the United States and that people would not be able to choose their destination.

Travelers are not allowed to take pets with them and firstly, they must fill out an emergency admission form on their website before arriving at the airport, the note said.

In the vicinity of the city, the movement of military armored vehicles and battle tanks intensified.
