HONOR Magic Vs2 is the second generation of the first folding Chinese manufacturer. The evolution, which updates the chassis and hinges, increases the size of the main screen, improves its hardware engine and maintains a moderate price to enter the demanding segment of folding mobile phones, whose price is still high.

The new Magic has renewed its magnesium alloy chassis and titanium hinge to reduce its weight to 229 grams. Compared to the first generation, it is also noticeably thinner, folded by 10.7 mm only 5.1 mm during deployment.

The inner screen is LTPO 7.9 inch OLED, the size of a medium tablet. It supports HDR 10+ and its refresh rate reaches 120 Hz. The external screen also uses the same type of OLED panel, with 6.43 inches, a resolution of 1060 x 2376 pixels, a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Its maximum brightness is 2500 nits, ideal for high brightness outdoor use.

Both screens of the HONOR Magic Vs2 are compatible with styluses, which opens up many possibilities for drawing or taking notes.

Set cameras It has also been updated with a 50MP main triple sensor, a 20MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The front cameras are located in perforated holes in the screen and have a 16-megapixel sensor.

The manufacturer has chosen to repeat the chipset and for this type of model there is no need for more, since it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, combined with 12/16 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of storage. Its battery is 5000 mAh with support for 66W fast wired charging.

HONOR Magic Vs2 is distributed in three color variants (black, blue and pink) and has the operating system MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13. The manufacturer has included several improvements to take advantage of these types of designs, such as split-screen multitasking, opening two instances of the same application side-by-side, and a mode that allows the screen to be split into two halves like a laptop.

The terminal can now be reserved in China and will be available from October 17th. Its price starts at 6,999 yuan with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
