In August, Fujitsu began the process of liquidating its Russian business, but the company has not yet announced a complete withdrawal from the Russian market. Local entity Fujitsu Technology Solutions LLC will be liquidated in August 2024. Fujitsu suspended direct shipments of its products and services following the start of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Russian legal entity Fujitsu was founded in the early 2000s. 99% of the shares belong to the Dutch Fujitsu Technology Solutions BV structure and 1% to the German Fujitsu Technology Solutions GMBH. In Russia, the company sold complex solutions in the field of information and communication technologies, laptops, personal computers and components.
Fujitsu Technology Solutions’ revenue amounted to 675 million rubles ($7 million) in 2022, down 24% compared to 2021. The company received losses in the amount of 119 million rubles. Instead of net profit of 63 million rubles. a year ago in 2022 the company had 40 employees (65 in 2021).
