Nutanix Data Lens detects threats within 20 minutes, offers 1-click recovery, and now supports Nutanix Objects.

Nutanix Data Lens is a SaaS-based data protection solution that helps assess and mitigate unstructured data security and compliance risks. This is done based on identifying anomalous activities and monitoring user behavior.

This service has been active for some time, but is now getting faster and with additional features. For example, Data Lens offers ransomware detection and blocking within 20 minutes, as well as automatic response to block the attack faster.

You can now also use 1-click restore: Nutanix Data Lens and Nutanix Unified Storage identify the last known good snapshot and automatically restore it. You can choose between automatic and manual recovery.

Finally, there is now permission visibility and risk visualization. This makes it possible to better understand complex authorization and audit configurations and to assess risks more correctly.

These new capabilities are available in Nutanix Data Lens and Nutanix Unified Storage to simplify and accelerate both discovery and recovery within the unstructured data layer.

Now also within Nutanix Objects

Organizations using object storage now have the same insights and forensics capabilities for Nutanix files and Nutanix objects. The auditing and forensics capabilities in Nutanix Data Lens extend to Nutanix Objects.

This allows companies to reduce security and compliance risks and simplify integrated data management in the cloud.

This move, along with the enhancement of Data Lens, represents an important evolution toward even more integrated network and security integration within the Nutanix Cloud Platform.
