The green giant is working on an intergenerational refresh of the GeForce RTX 40, and a new rumor suggests that NVIDIA is focusing its efforts on three new models very specific: GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER. If confirmed, we may not see a GeForce RTX 4080 Ti this year, although we must be clear that neither the nomenclature nor the exact new models have been confirmed yet.
By that I mean that NVIDIA might also launch a GeForce RTX 4080 Ti, either as a complement to the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, although that seems unlikely to me as it would oversaturate the high-end market. What might be interesting is the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SUPERa product that could improve NVIDIA’s position in the mid-range and that wouldn’t need much change to offer interesting value.
There is very little information yet, but it is clear that the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER models will improve the specifications of the original versions. Starting with what we have right now and from my own knowledge, I can give you rough estimate of possible specifications of these three new graphics cards. However, keep in mind that the numbers we will see are not confirmed.

Rumor has it that these new graphics cards could be introduced in 2024 to take advantage of the celebration of CES, one of the most important technology events of the year, although its launch would be delayed until the end of the first quarter. There are no details on pricing, but they should be the same or slightly higher than the current models at launch.
