The launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with Starlink satellites took place from the 40th launch complex at the US Space Force base in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
After that the first multiple stage of the launch vehicle carried out Controlled vertical descent onto offshore drone platform Read Instructions Only available in Atlantic.
Approximately 50 minutes later, the satellites were placed into orbit.
This is the 16th flight of the first stage launch vehicle supporting this mission.
Space.com writes that the Starlink megaconstellation currently consists of almost 4,900 active satellites.
