WhatsApp wants to make it easier for users to switch between different accounts on one device.

Anyone who uses two WhatsApp accounts and has to change devices frequently will soon no longer have to do so. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced today that WhatsApp will release an update enabling the functionality in the coming weeks.

Suppose you have a WhatsApp account for work and another personal account, then you can use both at the same time. Please note that each account is always linked to a specific mobile number. Dual SIM phones will soon be able to combine both numbers in one version of WhatsApp.

Do you have a phone with only one SIM card? All you need is the activation code for the second SIM card. If it is in another device for a while, you need to write down the code and enter it. After this initial verification, you can use both accounts on one device, even if only one SIM card fits.

WhatsApp regularly adds new features. For example, we are working on a way to plan events in chat groups and you should soon be able to use Meta AI as a chat assistant. At the beginning of last month, it improved the quality of your photos and videos. This morning another option was added for beta testers to make voice messages listenable once.
