October: a record month for GeForce Now?

For some time now, NVIDIA has been adding new games to GeForce Now every Thursday, on Thursday known as GFN, so there isn’t a week that goes by where users of the service don’t see their reach grow with more compatible titles. Now, I don’t know what has to be going on lately, although it is at least partly directly related to the agreement signed between Microsoft and NVIDIA a few months ago, but the fact is that the last few weeks have been surprising.

At a quick glance there were 23 games last week, the previous one which I think set the record was 29 games and the last one in September also served to end the month in style with no less than 26 games. So if we add the last three weeks with the additions announced today, we find ourselves with more than 100 new games per montha growth rate I don’t recall ever seeing on the platform.

So if you’re considering a GeForce Now subscription, you must know that this is the best time. Because? Well, because after keeping the same price as it has since its launch, the rates will increase on November 1st, but NVIDIA will keep the current price for six months for everyone who signs up with Priority and Ultimate subscriptions for six months.months. And if you haven’t tried it yet, you still have time to create a free account, evaluate what the service has to offer, and if you want, upgrade to a paid subscription until the end of October to take advantage of the current price.

For those who do not yet know about the GeForce Now offer, let us remind you different levels of accounts in NVIDIA service:

  • Free account: As the name suggests, NVIDIA offers a GeForce Now account level that is completely free and has no time limit. Of course, with this level we will not have access to advanced graphics settings, the maximum duration of each game session is two hours, and depending on the influx of users, you may have to wait a few minutes before you can start each session.
  • Priority account: with this type of account we will remove the limitation of the free ones. Yes, it will allow us to use the advanced graphics settings of the games, the maximum duration of each session is increased to six hours, and as you might have guessed from the name, you have priority access to GeForce Now services, so you avoid waiting when starting a session.
  • final account: Can you imagine having a high-end PC equipped with a GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card? Well, that’s what this subscription level offers you, but with the added benefit of using this computer on any compatible device (PC, smartphone, tablet, SmartTV, etc.). Enjoy Ultra, Insane and more modes and game sessions of up to eight hours, redefining the concept of cloud gaming.
