The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated the DANA wheeled self-propelled artillery installation in action. Video of the attacks was posted by the Ukrainian military on a social network. According to the military, the video was filmed in April, but has just been released. The military does not say under what conditions the shooting took place, whether it was training or combat.

It should be noted that the fire from the “DANA” installation was carried out with the installed supports that this system has on the sides and rear. The gun of this wheeled self-propelled artillery has a caliber of 152 mm. The howitzer is mounted on a Tatra chassis with a wheel formula of 8×8. The gun is guided by an electro-hydraulic system or a redundant manual mechanism.

The cabin is mounted on the front frame, the combat compartment is in the middle, the engine compartment is behind the chassis. The peculiarity of “DANA” is that its automatic loading can work at any elevation angle of the barrel. The effective firing range is 18.7 kilometers, and the maximum range is 20 kilometers. Source
