Microsoft has released Insider Preview Build 25977 for Windows 11 in the Canary Channel. This also includes support for hearing aids that work with Bluetooth Low Energy Audio technology.
Hearing aids with Bluetooth Low Energy Audio are now supported by Windows 11 in a new update from Insiders. The feature is being tested via the Canary channel in preview build 25977.
In May, Microsoft announced in a blog that it would work with Intel and Samsung to add Bluetooth LE Audio to a range of PC models. In this announcement, the American technology giant already indicated that it would expand the functionalities of this technology.
Microsoft puts words into words and is now using the technology to support compatible hearing aids. Users with a Bluetooth LE Audio hearing aid can now pair their device with their computer to stream audio or make calls directly.
The goal is to expand these hearing aid capabilities in the future. One idea that Microsoft has already suggested is to check the default audio settings directly from Windows Settings.
