Microsoft released Windows 11 last fall, and since then, the operating system has been phased out to minimize the chance of problems for users. It has now been announced that Windows 11 can be installed by all users who have a computer that meets the minimum system requirements for software distribution.
Simply check for updates via Windows Update to download the appropriate package. Pre-testing of the PC may be required for compliance with minimum system requirements. The update is expected to be available on all compatible devices soon. Note that Windows still using Intel Smart Sound Technology drivers cannot load Windows due to operating system compatibility issues.
According to available data, Microsoft does not plan to forcibly upgrade all Windows 11 compatible devices, at least at this stage. It also gives developers the opportunity to specify when to switch to a new operating system. It’s unlikely that many users will rush to Windows 11, as support for Windows 10 will continue until 2025.
