At this rate, Samsung will encounter very few surprises when it introduces the Galaxy S24. It’s common for the South Korean company to leak surprises about its devices months before the official launch, and in fact, we already have plenty of details about its new phones.

But what if there is a change in cameras, flat displays and dual processors with Exynos 2400 for some regions and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for others? We are now aiming for a truly ‘smart’ smart assistant powered by artificial intelligence. So much so that reports show that A Bixby that will directly leverage ChatGPT or Google Bard.

Bixby needs support from Google and Microsoft

Artificial intelligence is a trendand one of the strongest in recent years. Everyone wants to have their own generative model in their systems or use AI in various ways. Even Apple, which does not explicitly mention artificial intelligence, uses it in a very interesting way on iPhones.

There are companies that are exactly the opposite, and for example, Google presented the Pixel 8, which talked about the benefits of the Tensor G3 SoC in performing AI calculations in real time and providing different services to the user.

At the Exynos 2400 presentation, Samsung did not give any concrete data about the processor beyond saying that the performance of the processor is 1.7 times higher than the previous generation (compared to two years ago). NPU stands out with 14.7x higher performance.

This NPU is responsible for AI computing tasks and Samsung is the manufacturer of Google’s Tensor G3So we can expect a significant leap in this sense, and therefore it is logical to think that Samsung wants to improve its voice assistant.

The problem is that the South Koreans have not given up on Bixby and, as we can read on both Fnnews and Sammobile, Samsung will improve its assistant with their technologies ChatGPT And Google Bard. These are AIs from OpenAI (which has a strong collaboration with Microsoft) and Google respectively, which will give the assistant a step up in terms of interactivity.

No further details or specific actions that a more advanced Bixby could perform were given, but as we always say in these cases, this is not news from the company itself, we have to wait for any official news. No matter what, we’ll be here to tell you about it.
