South Korean software startup AI Auction has launched a chatbot for tax advisors called K-engine that specializes in providing verified information about tax regulations such as property tax

Unlike OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot, which learns from distributed data on the internet, K-engine works with a proprietary legal database that is verified and compiled by legal experts, the company said.
Thus, the chatbot is expected to eliminate the main drawback associated with generative AI models, namely the provision of fake information.
K-engine is currently undergoing further testing to improve performance with minimal data entry for broader applications across various legal sectors.
“We plan to expand our service range to cover the entire field of taxation, including value added tax, property tax and inheritance tax,” said Park Jung-bae, CEO of AI Auction.
According to Ukrinform, Google announced that it will add the Bard artificial intelligence chatbot to Gmail, Maps, Documents and YouTube services.
