Today, the Zakarpattia region has received eight Starlink installations from the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
“It is now very important for critical infrastructure facilities to have uninterrupted access to the network. Therefore, we will separate systems into social infrastructure and citizens’ life support objects, where there are problems with Internet connectivity,” said Oleksandr Patskan, Vice President of OVA.
According to him, thanks to Starlink, Transcarpathians will be able to improve the delivery of services to IDPs and, if necessary, provide a backup channel of communication for rapid information exchange.
Oleksandr Patskan, “We are grateful to the State Special Communications Service and the Ministry of Digital Transformation for the new opportunities in the field of digitization of Transcarpathia and for initiatives that are much needed today.” said. Source
