YouTube Music playlists now feature a collage of four tracks based on recently added tracks, rather than a single permanent cover. This means two things: The image is constantly changing, and you can’t do a quick visual search through a bunch of playlists because all such visualizations are similar to each other.

Google has become absolutely obsessed with artificial intelligence lately, so it’s no surprise that this feature is also based on artificial intelligence. According to sources, the company is currently testing its neural network’s ability to generate covers via text request. With you still can’t set your own picture.

• All you have to do is click on the edit playlist button and then click on the current main image (collage).
• From now on, YouTube Music will offer you a number of categories such as nature, humor and animals.
• Each one creates a random sequence of images when selected; for example, a dog in a specific art style that you can change.
• Scroll through the options and when you find something you like, save it as a new cover photo for your playlist.

At the same time, it is not yet clear whether it will allow developers to write text queries on their own or simply select from predetermined points. The company released a video recording of the event. From this it follows that when you click on a certain point of the subject of the image (in this case “Animals”), the page shows the result and its options at the top, and below it is the text query field. First comes the name of the animal, highlighted in white, implying that this element can be changed. Then gray text in the “style” and white text with a description of the style, which can also be changed. For example: “Boxer in the style of Medieval Gothic”. But when the user clicks on the replaceable white text, the field is not enabled for manual typing, but instead reveals different styles or animals from the company’s preset selection.
