NASA astronauts Laurel O’Hara and Jasmine Mogbeli will exit the Quest station’s airlock to remove the electronic box called the Radio Frequency Group, which is part of the communications antenna system.
They will also replace one of the 12 thrust bearings in the solar rotating coupler of the station’s port port. These support bearings allow the station’s solar cells to track the Sun.
It is stated that their launch into space was previously planned for Monday, October 30.
For Mogbeli and O’Hara, this will be their first spacewalk.
