This was reported by the ESA observatory, according to Ukrinform’s report.

The galaxy NGC 1566, also known as the Spanish Dancer, is located approximately 60 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Golden Pisces and is also a member of the galaxy group.

Galaxy groups are collections of gravitationally bound galaxies.

It is noted that groups differ from galaxy clusters in size and mass: galaxy clusters can contain hundreds of galaxies, and groups – several dozen galaxies.

However, there is no clear distinction between the definition of a galaxy group and a galaxy cluster.

According to some astronomers, galaxy clusters consisting of less than 80 trillion planets with the mass of the Sun should be considered a galaxy group.

Membership in the Golden Pisces galactic group has fluctuated over the past few decades, with various scientific papers modifying the list of galaxies that make it up.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Hubble space telescope photographed three galaxies gravitationally interacting with each other in the Toucan constellation.
