Users will soon be able to create their own backgrounds in Microsoft Teams. The company has added this feature to its 365 roadmap. The feature is intended for announcements that you can post to a channel.
This addition was made on October 23rd and was subsequently adjusted on October 26the. The rollout would happen next month. Currently, this upgrade is primarily designed for Microsoft Teams Premium subscribers.
Additionally, these users can also benefit from the presence of the popular AI image generator Dall-E. This makes it possible to generate unique images to make the backgrounds even more personal or simply special.
The rollout is fairly general and typically available for all versions of Teams:
There will be different phases: Targeted publication for a complete organization, Targeted publication for selected individuals and General availability (General availability).
Version Dall-E 3 is now also available via ChatGPT. Microsoft Teams is now also available in the generally rolled out version 2.0, following a preview version last spring.
