“We welcome you to our new website, prepared for us almost free of charge by our partners Dump Forums: we pay with all your personal data, because this is the only and inevitable value we have left”, – hackers wrote on the hacked website. ReliaQuest cybersecurity experts tell the group He sees the forums as “a new pro-Ukrainian, anti-Russian and anti-Belarusian forum that allows users to join the fight” against Russian occupiers. The forum was created at the end of May 2022. The number of participants was estimated at around 100, but no one knows the exact number.
What is known about the attack
It is unknown what the purpose of the attack was, but hackers say they were able to download a lot of useful data. On their Telegram channel they write: “We downloaded a lot of interesting information from the servers of the Mir payment system, had a great time on their internal network, and now we are ready to announce the hack of the largest payment operator. It is very interesting to see how the IT NSPK department (National system of payment cards, which provides for the processing of transactions on cards “Mir” – ed. note) “We will respond to this unpleasant incident.”.
It is not known exactly what data fell into the hands of hackers. Representatives of the payment system deny the leak of information, saying that the site is just a business card with information about the company’s activities, it does not contain any confidential data and is not related to the payment infrastructure.
A humorous message was published on the hacked website, in which it was said that “insidious Western imperialists” openly refuse to supply plastic to Russia and that “less insidious Chinese comrades” are not allowed into the yuan zone. Therefore, with this in mind, NSPK allegedly engaged in import substitution of rubles for shells. In this way, the country leaves the ruble zone and adheres to old traditions and “Sry kak dedy, ..yat!”, which ensures reliable protection of data from hacker attacks. Begins to use the new processing system “Beresta-Ѣ”, which fully corresponds to the slogan. “.
In connection with Russia’s exit from the ruble zone, we are ready to offer you a new payment method – seashells. We were able to secure sufficient reserves for the new billing unit by selling our backup system administrators in the Republic of Guinea. The exchange will be carried out at the rate of 1,000 rubles for a shell and 10,000 rubles for a rapan. – hackers wrote that this was a temporary measure, since rapan stocks outside the Black Earth are extremely limited, and they will later be replaced by some primitive Russian gastropods in the Nordensköld Sea.
The text ends with these words: “Crimea is Ukraine and we are not happy there”.
