American space agency for him with words, is launching more than just rockets: It plans to launch its own video streaming service called NASA+ on November 8th. The streaming service has been in beta testing mode so far but will be available to everyone next week.

Unlike traditional commercial streaming platforms, NASA+ will be an ad-free and subscription-free service. The agency says it will feature Emmy-winning livestreams and opportunities to watch a variety of missions live, as well as original NASA programming exclusively available on this platform.

The new NASA project is part of the agency’s digitalization plan strategy, which also includes an updated website and the agency’s official app. Its own platform is a relevant initiative that takes into account the grandiose plans of the American space program: the launch of the Artemis II mission with the landing of four astronauts on the moon is planned for November next year – they will go on the Orion spacecraft. It will be launched with the SLS (Space Launch) launch vehicle. Portions of this mission may be featured on the NASA+ platform.
