After a quarter of mixed results, Fortinet is shifting its focus to three markets where it sees the greatest growth potential in the coming years.

In a press release, Fortinet announces a repositioning. The company wants to put three markets at the forefront of its sales strategy in the coming years: Secure network, universal SASE And Safe operation. The security specialist makes this decision after the current quarterly results are announced.

Fortinet reported revenue of $1.33 billion between July 1 and September 30. An increase of sixteen percent, but the analysts expected more and the stock market punishes them mercilessly for that. Shares fell seventeen percent.

Three markets

Fortinet realized that customers were spending less money to purchase security products, and that is ultimately the bottom line of any company. The security specialist is therefore focusing on three markets that it believes will grow strongly between 2024 and 2027.

Fortinet expects nine percent annual growth in this area, supported by the AI-powered products under the FortiGuard label. The real growth horse must Universal SASE by twenty percent every year.
