We learned about new ways to defeat more than two months ago. On the last day of summer, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the successful use of long-range weapons of his own production.

It was believed at the time to be a long-range kamikaze drone, as the report coincided with an attack on a Russian airport 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. As a result of the attack, four Il-76 aircraft were destroyed.

But we are facing a rocket. This was announced by Brigadier General Serhiy Baranov, Head of the Main Directorate of Missile Forces, Artillery and Unmanned Systems of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is not yet known which missile Ukraine managed to create (ballistic or cruise missile), but work on its improvement continues. According to the Brigadier General, experts are working to increase the accuracy and range of missile launches.
