Ukrainian developers designed and produced a heavy-duty universal drone prototype with a take-off weight of 200 kg and vertical take-off and landing.
The drone “Dzhmil-90” is equipped with the Rotax-582 engine. Engine power is 48 kW (65 hp).
Fuel reserve up to 60 liters. With the engine consuming 27 liters of fuel per hour, this volume allows a flight time of 2 hours. When fully refueled the load capacity will be 50-60 kg. Payload may be higher if maximum range flight is not required when refueling is low. The carrying capacity with fuel reserve per flight hour will be up to 75 kg.
Universal UAV “Jmil-90” is used by the Armed Forces to supply ammunition, food, equipment spare parts, etc. It can be used as a tool to deliver. Depending on the required transport distance, the weight of the load can be up to 90 kg.
The drone can be used as a weapon carrier when the appropriate weapons and control module are installed. The carrying capacity of 50-90 kg offers great opportunities in weapon selection.
In the civilian version, the UAV can be used as a cargo carrier, as an agricultural UAV for processing fields from the air, for air patrols (taking into account the presence of only one surveillance camera on the UAV), with additional refueling the flight can reach 3.5-4 hours
