The CZ-2F/G rocket was launched from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome in northern China at 11:14 Beijing time on October 26. He carried Shenzhou-17 into orbit with three cosmonauts. The crew will remain on the station for six months and conduct scientific experiments and tests of various payloads there.

The Chinese station is located at an altitude of approximately 400 km and will serve for more than 10 years. Designed for three people (up to six for a short period during crew rotation).
