The ASUS Chromebook CM30 is a device removable which the manufacturer describes as “an efficient, fun and liberating everyday companion for students, households and frontline workers in retail and beyond”.
It is a 2-in-1 tablet that comes complete with a keyboard and stylus for working on the go and at your desk. Mount the multi-touch screen 10.5 inches with FHD resolution, wide viewing angles and 16:10 aspect ratio.

It works with a processor inside MediaTek Kompanio 520 with 8 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage capacity. It has a 5MP front camera for video conferencing and another rear camera for photography, also with a 5MP sensor. It supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 and can optionally equip LTE mobile broadband.
The ASUS Chromebook CM30 features a durable recycled aluminum chassis, tested to meet MIL-STD 810H military standards. The cover keyboard is optional, but a key component to increase versatility of use and carry over to the warranty desk. It attaches magnetically and can be upgraded with a reinforced Impact Shield case for transport or use in scenarios where more strength is needed.

And Chrome OS. Today, Google’s PC operating system is perfectly poised to compete with Windows and macOS in the vast majority of computing tasks. Based on a new hardware-accelerated graphics environment called “Aura”, Google improves the entire interface and performance while maintaining the system’s great advantages in ease of use and security. And adding applications, since in addition to the native ones for Chrome OS, it can also run those for Android and Linux.

This ASUS Chromebook 2 in 1 looks very good, weighs less than a kilogram and has a battery 12 hours of autonomy. You can install standard Chrome OS for consumer use or Chrome Education Upgrade or Chrome Enterprise Upgrade to enable device management from the Google Admin Console if you use them for education or business. Its price has not been mentioned, but it will certainly be quite economical and another point in favor of this one removable.
