“In October, 4,493 battery-powered vehicles (BEVs) were added to the Ukrainian fleet. Compared to last October, the demand for electric cars increased 2.8 times. The majority of electric vehicles registered in the month were passenger cars with 4,417 units. (new – 851 units, used – 3566 “Only 10 of 76 commercial electric vehicles were new.”
The market is up 4.5% compared to September 2023, according to Ukravtoprom.
Among the five new electric cars in October were Volkswagen ID.4 – 366 units, Toyota BZ4X – 65 units, Honda E – 63 units, Volkswagen ID.6 – 44 units. and AUDI Q4 e-tron – 24 units.
Ukrainian consumers preferred Nissan Leaf with 573 second-hand cars, Tesla Model 3 with 442 units, Volkswagen e-Golf with 405 units, and Tesla Model Y with 255 units. and Renault Zoe – 201 units.
Since the beginning of 2023, approximately 28,700 electric cars have been registered in Ukraine for the first time; This number is 2.7 times more than in the same period last year. Additionally, the share of new cars in BEV registrations increased from 16% to 20%.
