Hardware manufacturer Lenovo and audio specialist EPOS are jointly bringing two headsets onto the market. The models are primarily aimed at people who work hybrid.
A partnership between Lenovo and EPOS has produced two new headsets. The focus of both models is on business customers with a predominantly hybrid work situation. They are started as Lenovo wired VOIP headset and that Lenovo Wired ANC Headset Gen 2.
Hybrid working has become an integral part of the current professional climate. The devices should therefore be suitable for home and office, but also for on the go.
This release is more than two companies wanting to do something together. EPOS is now Lenovo’s global audio partner for PC audio accessories. The new headsets are therefore Co-branding. The goal is for EPOS devices to work smoothly with Lenovo products such as the ThinkPad and ThinkBook series of laptops. This includes, for example, the Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 1.
In the future, this collaboration will include additional elements:
To provide Lenovo customers with more audio choices from a single source, the EPOS portfolio will also become part of Lenovo’s 3rd Party Offering program.
The headsets are certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom. They are also suitable for other applications in the area Unified Communications (UC). For anyone who travels a lot and wants to take their headset with them: A travel case is included.
Both models have the same shape, including ear cups and have a Inline call control box. They can also be easily connected via USB-C (with a USB-A adapter). There’s something there for concentrated work (or music enjoyment). Active noise cancellation provided.
You don’t have to wait, the headsets are already available. The Lenovo wired VOIP headset has a recommended retail price of 49.99 euros, including VAT and for the Lenovo Wired ANC Headset Gen 2 That’s 129.99 euros, including VAT. By the way, EPOS itself has just launched the Impact 5000T series of headsets.
