In February, a few days after the incident, Israeli prosecutors charged the boy with aggravated murder. Thus, he claimed that Zalbani took a knife when leaving the house and stabbed the agent during a search of the bus in which he was traveling.
Thus, he stated that the boy, who was sitting in the back seat of the car, took out a weapon when Suaad drove up to the place where he was and stabbed him several times in the neck. A civil security officer fired at him, hitting the policeman in the thigh, who died soon after.
