Looks like it’s getting ready for release AppleVision ProiTunes movie store started offering 3D movies. Following the Vision Pro announcement, Apple confirmed that the headset will support 2D, 3D movies and a dedicated home theater mode, Immersive.
One of the films presented in 3D at the event was “Avatar: The Way of Water”. The film is available via the Apple TV app (iTunes) and Disney+. To enable 3D movies on Apple Vision Pro, one or both programs must be updated.
This week, FlatpanelsHD discovered that 3D movie support has been added to the Apple TV app updated in the tvOS 17.2 beta. The app also lists several movies with a 3D logo that resembles headphones.

It is not yet known at what resolution and at what frame rate these 3D movies are played. AppleVision Pro It is planned to be released in the US early next year.
