The new facility combines two existing plants, one of which is also located in the state capital of Amazonas. designed for TVs and soundbars and another in Cajamara (St. Petersburg), where the company’s administrative and distribution departments are located.

The company wants to expand its market share in the segment

The space of more than 34,000 m² was built in the last three years and will house more than a thousand employees from the region. The optimization and modernization of national production is expected, as well as the doubling of the company’s production capacity. Initially, the division will produce models Split Wall from 9000 BTU to 32000 BTUboth in On/off and inverter versions.

“We are very pleased to complete one of the company’s most important projects in the Brazilian market. With the new plant, we expect to expand our production capacity and achieve a market share of 20% over the next five years. We will start with an annual production of 500,000 units and hope to double this number in the next three years. In this way, we will be able to strengthen TCL as one of the main air conditioner manufacturers in the country as well as in the international market,” says Yue Haiping, General Manager SEMP TKL in Brazil.
